Have I ever?
1. ...ridden on a rollercoaster? Yes I have, and I really didn't enjoy it very much.
2. ...performed (in any area of the arts) onstage? Yes again - music of course.
3. ...planted a garden? No, but I planted some trees from the Arbor Day Foundation; I wonder how they're doing. I should call my Georgia neighbor and ask her to check.
4. ...ever had to reformat your hard drive due to a virus/spyware? ..had to? ..should have? I've never done it; that's all I know.
5. ...written a book? A poem? A song? As a child, I wrote a few short stories and poems; I have no evidence of it though.
6. ...sung karaoke? I have!
7. ...been interviewed by a local tv station/newspaper? No
8. ...witnessed a tornado/earthquake/hurricane first-hand? No and that's okay; it's not on my list of must do or see.
9. ...participated in a photo scavenger hunt? No
10. ...traveled to another country? Yes, only Canada and Mexico (so far.)
My reality shows!
Survivor ended with Tom as the big winner; I'm okay with that because he wasn't an evil player and really showed strength (both mentally and physically.) My favorite was Stefanie, but once again women have proven that they don't trust each other and passed up their chance to get rid of Tom.
The Amazing Race is always fun to see because in my opinion, this is the most real of the realities. This particular season was not my favorite because I don't enjoy watching Rob (as in Boston Rob from a previously shown survivor.) I must say though that he probably is a good man because he always treated his woman (Amber) with love and concern. A few of the men on this show treat their women worse than a slug in the earth. I am glad that Joyce and Uchenna won because they are definitely good people.
The Apprentice, my second favorite this season, ended perfectly! A woman won! She didn't impress me at first, but as I watched her more closely, I realized that even though she wasn't always visible, it was often her behind the scenes marketing that pulled off the win for her team. She totally shined during her final project by truly respecting her team. Good job Kendra.
Now for my favorite, The contender! Yes, I am surprised too that I enjoy this one so much. When I first heard about it, I wasn't going to watch it because boxing really is a crazy sport. My favorite, Alfonso Gomez left a week or so ago in fourth place. I think he is a great guy and hope he does one day make a big win for his family. I also hope that he does it soon enough that he doesn't damage his brain too much in the process. Please Alfonso start your back up plan now while you're still young and full of dreams. The finale is tonight between my 2nd and 3rd favorites. I think Sergio is the one who wants to be a writer, so it would be great for him to win. He just may be smart enough to quit while he still has his wits. It would also be great if Peter Manfredo won because he just seems like a great guy and his daughter is adoreable. One thing that I really don't like about this show is watching the little children while they watch their Daddies becoming bloody as the throw punch after punch.
