I am excited! Feast or Famine it is................ but it's all good!

I have 3 massages scheduled for tomorrow and had one today; this is a good week. I feel like a genuine working woman again.

Life is good!

Monday Madness presents............
How Many........
1. ...computer-related gadgets do you own? Me? none really.

2. ...pictures on your living room walls? 2 pictures exist on the living room walls and one on the dining room wall.

3. ...magnets on your refrigerator? Whoa 19! Some of the magnets are clips to hold paper, some businesses, a calendar, a pic of Bravo, and a few that Otto made. I need all of them. They each have their purpose.

4. ...reference books in your bookshelves? I am only going to count mine - here I go counting... 54 reference materials which include English (teaching,) Spanish (learning,) Homeopathy, Eating, spirituality, massage and Oriental medicine.

5. ...boxes of cereal in your cupboards? There is no cereal at the moment, but we should never have more than one box at a time.

6. ...lamps in your house? this was an easy one - only 4

7. ...times a week do you shop for groceries? we shop once a week max; sometimes we only go twice a month.

8. ...magazines do you subscribe to? Zero, but someone subscribed me to a yoga mag and i also get a massage mag with my membership to massage therapy association.

9. ...tv programs do you watch on a regular basis? Survivor, Contender, Apprentice, and Amazing Race - Oh my Goodness - I am a reality tv junkie!

10. ...items on your bathroom counter that don't really need to be there? One - this magnet thing that holds a bunch of stars - I had no other great place to put it and i like it.

Speaking of Contender............. when I saw the previews for it, i told Susan that I was not even going to check it out because boxing is a crazy sport. Although I have always enjoyed watching it and even thought about getting into once long ago. The first Sunday that it aired, I caught the second half and then wished I had watched the whole thing; I'm hooked. It's a good show - the boxing boys seem like good guys and ..... it's just good!

Monday Madness brings us ..... Fill in the blanks - completely random!!

1. I wish I had more. Just kidding! Get it? I couldn't think of anything, so..... just more!

2. I never think about changing my blog layout.

3. If more people were relaxed, the world would be a better place.

4. I really should exercise more often.

5. The weather we're having right now is quite nice.

6. When it's time to plant a garden, I'd like to plant a garden! Since i don't have a yard, I don't think it will be time for a while.

7. When I'm running late, I sometimes forget to carry my cell phone.

8. When I can't think of anything to blog about, I usually don't blog.

I finally did it! I have been living here for almost two years and two things have been bugging me the whole time, the living room and the dining room. I could also say those two things were two big bookcases (one in each room.)

With only one class left in this trimester, I knew I had the time to do it. I had been visualizing the results for months. I had some extra motivation from my main two clients who each chose to come to me instead have me go to them (my original intention.) Finally, I had to stop thinking about it and just do it!

S had call (24 hour duty) on Saturday, but I know me.... I needed more than twenty four hours. On Friday I started the job; I meticulously pulled out each book, glanced through it, dusted it and placed it according to subject or type. I called S to tell her there was a work in progress going on. On Saturday I moved each bookcase to "the office," cleaned them and then meticulously placed the books in the bookcases. There were a few things I had to take into account while placing the books; weight, beauty, subject which all revolved around what is currently being used the most at the moment.

The office may be rearranged in the future, but it is functional and clean. Most importantly, the living room is clear of clutter. I didn't even tell you about the many papers I boxed up for S with hopes that we can gradually go through them to decipher what is needed and what can be shredded.

The dining room is clear and the table is useable. The living room is relaxing allowing the energy to flow freely throughout. I am by no means a feng shui expert, but there is a lot to benefit from a little knowledge and a lot of action. The living room also easily transfers into my massage space.

My next project is......................PHOTOS!
Monday Madness? This is Monday! I'm not late !

1. What's on your refrigerator? Let's see - There is a playmate cooler on the top of the fridge; I guess just to have it handy. There is also a box of cereal (kashi go lean crunch - good stuff) I better see if it's still good. The left side is holding two oven mitts, pens in a magnet holder (that's pretty handy by the way,) a Toucan Sam magnet that i got from Mom and two clip magnets to hold paper. The front displays a small calendar, a mini pic of Bravo's face, a kitty magnet that Nat made, S's call schedule, and a written phrase I got from one of my I Ching messages, "activity brings good fortune." The right side is hiding a pooh character magnet (Nat made,) some miscellaneous information magnets and a schedule of free museum days at Balboa Park. It sounds like a lot, but it doesn't look bad.

2. What color is your refrigerator? White

3. Is the freezer on the top, bottom or side? it's on the left side - it works for me

4. How old is your fridge? I don't care enough to look it up, but my guess is that it is about 4 or 5 years old.

Does it match your stove? yes indeed; it's white too.

5. How regularly do you clean the inside of your fridge? not regular at all; I clean it when it begins to bug me. Of course I do spot cleaning hear and there all the time.
