Interesting!

"Hi, this is my friend Jan." this statement brings about many questions; for example, Where are you from? Why did you move here? What do you do? How did you two meet? and many more.

I discovered today, that the statement, "Hi, this is my cousin Jan." brings no questions to the person's mind.

I guess cousins just aren't as interesting as friends.

Have you met my cousin, Susan?

It's almost Tuesday, but here are my Monday Madness answers....

1. Bed & Breakfast or hotel? It would depend on the area I am visiting; sometimes the good ol' hotel is the best. Other times, the B & B is the best!

2. What determines where you stay? price and location

3. When determining where to stay, do you ever consider the establishment's history? generally, yes

4. Would such considerations sway your decision? certainly! I wouldn't stay in a known undesirable area.

5. Do you try and read the local paper for where you're visiting, to get an idea of what the area's like? I haven't yet, but it's an interesting idea

I'M NOT TOUCHING YOU!

ha, ha, ha, who is in my head now?

(read the comments)
The other day, S and I were standing in line at Sea World; I was getting bored, so I was doing that to Susan - holding my finger close to her face, but I wasn't saying anything. Some woman who was standing nearby, chuckled and said, "oh, are you doing that "I'm not touching you?" We both laughed and the woman proceded to tell us about the things she and her siblings did when they were kids. It was fun.

I always knew that I found pleasure in eating, but it still amazes me realizing how much I miss while having to be extremely careful as to what I eat.

I just had a few temporary crowns put in today and one already fell out while I was flossing. Now, I am extremely paranoid about eating and even cleaning my teeth.

I must make it through the weekend before I can do anything about it, but I did pop it back in to place. I would look pretty funny if it were left open; not to mention the uncomfortable feeling it would be with air hitting the space.

I think to myself, wouldn't it be easier just to get false teeth? I know at least one person who has had them for quite a long time, and she is still pretty. Everyone tells me though, keeping my teeth as long as possible is the best solution.

I know that I didn't take very good care of my teeth most of my life, but in the past two years since I've started getting work done, I have been quite meticulous. In spite of all that, major work is still ahead.

I'm smiling, but for now it just isn't as enthusiastic for fear of something falling out!

It's all good.

this one will be most entertaining for those who know Bravo - He's a big dog, not extremely smart, but not really stupid. He's cute and full of love. I love him.

After our first walk this morning, I took him into the pool area. I took off his leash and we ran around the pool for a little while. I was confident he would not try to get in the pool because he isn't really a water dog despite being part Rottweiller and part lab.

As he approached the jacuzzi, I thought to myself, "he's going to stick his nose in and all will be well." I wasn't thinking that the cover on the jacuzzi made it look (to him) as though it were just a hard surface. It only took one step and he was in! I called him to the steps, but no, he could only concentrate on the wall in front of him. He managed to get three paws up - I realized he wasn't going to make it easy, so I boosted his butt up and out of the water.

Bravo! for Bravo! He smells good!

Yesterday at about 3:30, Susan was at the computer while I was on the couch in the same room. We were talking about schedules when the room shook. She said, "I think that was an earthquake." I responded, "it's the only thing it could be because I didn't hear a truck hit the building." I immediately turned on the television and sure enough, there was an earthquake reported somewhere off the coast. The news proceded to make a big deal about it which I thought was foolish.

The first time I felt the house shake, months ago, I thought it was a truck hitting the building; this time I knew it wasn't. The shake was stronger than the previous one, with no noise.

My house would shake sometimes where I used to live in GA, but I would always hear the BOOM! in the distance; it was Fort Stewart playing war.

Earthquakes - one thing I don't have an overwhelming desire to experience at a higher magnitude.
I have not participated in Lulu's lines for quite a while, but when something comes to mind immediately upon reading her trigger, I answer.

Eyes are for seeing but not necessarily for believing. Having faith is believing even without seeing.
